Born in the late nineties I grew up in a loving family with one older sister. I fell in love with early years education through the experiences I had with my Mother's at home daycare as well as my intensive work with hearing resource teachers due to my moderate to profound hearing loss. As a recent graduate from the University of Guelph in Child Youth and Family Studies I became a member of Ontario's college of early childhood educators. September 2018 I begun a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education program at the University of Toronto and graduated in June, 2020. I graduated with honours and was the recipient of the Fredrich Frobel Scholarship. I am currently enrolled in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher Education at York University. My personal hobbies include all kinds of sports; badminton, volleyball, basketball, yoga, and golf. Set to graduate in April 2021 I will be moving to British Columbia to begin my teaching career. I look forward to becoming the educator students need today.
